    Note:

    • Interested and eligible applicant shall submit the application addressed to the Chairman, Goa State Pollution Control Board, Nr. Pilerne Industrial Estate, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez Goa 403511, on or before 20/12/2024, giving details such as educational qualifications, work experience if any, valid employment exchange card, birth certificate, one passport size photograph affixed to the application, 15 years continuous residence certificate in Goa issued by the Competent Authority, relevant certificates issued by the Competent Authority and scrutinized by the Scrutiny Committee constituted by the respective departments, Govt. of Goa, and any other relevant certificates / documents. The application as per the proforma along with the documents attached shall be submitted to the office of the Goa State Pollution Control Board.
    • Late, incomplete applications and not fulfilling the requirements in any manner are liable to be rejected summarily by the Board.
    • Prescribed Educational qualifications mentioned above are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the applicants to be called for the competitive written examination/ skill test. Where the number of applications received is large, the Board shall shortlist the candidates.
    • Only eligible candidates· fulfilling the criteria as per recruitment rules/ advertisement shall apply. However, the candidature of shortlisted shall not be considered, if he/ she is found ineligible at the time of verification of essential documents, even though he I she has passed the competitive written examination/ skill test.
    • A competitive written examination / skill test shall be held for the eligible candidates.
    • The syllabus and scheme of examination shall encompass questions based on essential qualifications, general knowledge, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude etc. commensurate with the degree / level of understanding required for the post,knowledge of konkani. Skill test shall be as per the qualifications required in the recruitment Rules
    • The total marks of competitive written examination shall be 100 and duration of competitive written examination/ skill test shall be two hours.
    • Selection of candidates shall be determined in accordance with the marks obtained by each candidate in written examination I skill test as per merit. The entire result shall be published on the Notice Board of the Board as well as on the portal goaspcb.gov.in and www.iwa.gov.in.
    • If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the competitive written examination/ skill test, the order of merit shall be as per their date of birth and if in case the date of birth is also the same, then the candidate possessing higher educational qualifications will be placed higher in the merit list.
    • There shall be no allocation of marks for educational qualifications and the selection of candidates shall be done strictly as per the marks scored in written competitive examination/ skill test.
    • Prescribed educational qualifications mentioned above are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the applicants to be entitled for the written examination I skill test where the number of applications received is large. The Board shall shortlist the candidates.
    • No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the written examination/ skill test.
    • The Board shall draw a waiting list, which shall lapse on declaration of the date of a ubsequent examination for the same category or after a period of one year from the date of preparation of such wait list, whichever is earlier

    (8) The mode of payment of application fee is through online payment using Internet

    (12) The date of examination will be intimated in due course through the website of the Commission and publication in the local daily.
    (13) As per Regulation 15 of the Goa Staff Selection Commission (Examinations, Selection of Candidates to the sub-ordinate services/posts and Procedure for conduct of the business of the Commission) Regulations, 2023, the placement of the candidates in different Departments
    shall be based on decision of the Commission. The Commission may follow the concept of proportionate representation depending on the number of post/s in each department, number
    of department forming part of recruitment process in each category with selected candidates arranged serially in descending order of merit. The decision of Commission shall be final. The Commission shall not entertain any request for change in allotment to Department from the
    candidate as well as from the Department.

    (14) The Commission has observed that some candidates apply for a particular post separately under Unreserved/General Category as well as under Reserved Category. The candidate shall not appear more than once for the examination of the post held in multiple batches and on
    multiple days; even if he has submitted multiple applications under different category or under same category. In case it is found that a candidate appear for CBT examination more than once, the marks obtained in the first attempt in such examination shall be considered.
    (15) The ineligible candidates who do not posses required qualification as per Recruitment Rules of the respective post should not apply for the post advertised by the Commission. If any candidate is found then serious view will be taken by the Commission against such candidate.

  • Goa Shipyard Limited: Apply for Various Contract Posts

    GSL is a Central Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Defense and is a Schedule ‘B’ Mini Ratna Category-1 company, engaged in designing and building Ships for Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard and for other customers including friendly foreign countries.     Other Terms of Engagement:

    2) The Expert may also be required to impart training on critical systems/ processes for which he/she is engaged to GSL personnel.

    5) Persons engaged on full time basis under the Scheme will not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the contractual period. The individual shall not engage in other activities that conflict with the interest of the employer.

    GENERAL CONDITIONS:

    1) The post is on contract basis only and does not provide any claim for permanent employment.

    2) The candidates who are applying for the above mentioned posts should have completed overall 15 years of service out of which they should have minimum 5 years of relevant experience as mentioned in the table above.

    3) Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and other requirements as laid down does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
